In the heart of Longoswa, something extraordinary is happening.
A quiet revolution is taking root—led by courageous Maasai women and young mothers who are determined to break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures through skill-building, cultural pride, and economic independence.
Village Economic Empowerment (VEE) is launching a bold new initiative:
“Investing in Maasai Women: Building Resilience and Empowerment for a Brighter Future.”
This project will empower over 150 women with practical training in beadwork, tailoring, and digital literacy—equipping them to generate income, support their families, and become pillars of strength in their communities.
1. Beadwork Training & Materials – KES 480,000
Women will learn to craft beautiful, culturally inspired jewelry using high-quality tools and expert guidance. These products will be prepared for local and global markets.

Your support will provide sewing machines, fabric, threads, and skilled trainers to teach garment-making and household textile creation.
3. Computer Literacy & Digital Empowerment – KES 670,000
This component includes laptops, printers, chairs, tables, and skilled instruction in basic digital skills, helping women explore online business, communication, and education tools.
4. Ongoing Mentorship & Support – KES 105,900
We’ll walk with these women beyond training, offering regular check-ins, mentoring, and small business support to ensure long-term success
